The Clarion City Council moved through 14 resolutions at its meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020, most of them tied to the city’s water projects.
Clarion was in the middle of planning a major upgrade to its water system, a process that eventually led to a new reverse osmosis treatment plant. Projects of that size come with a stack of paperwork: engineering agreements, funding applications, bid lettings and contract approvals, each requiring its own resolution.
The volume of votes did not mean a long debate. Most of the resolutions had already been discussed in earlier meetings and committee work.
