Clarion News Online is owned by Kim Sanders. This page covers what the site collects when you read it.
- Server logs. Our host records IP addresses, browser types and pages requested, for security and troubleshooting, and keeps them for a limited time.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which stories get read. It sets cookies, which you can block in your browser or with Google’s opt-out add-on.
- Email. If you write to us, we keep your message and address so we can reply. We don’t sell or share them, and we won’t sign you up for anything.
- Weather. The weather line on the home page is fetched by our server from the National Weather Service. Your location is never requested.
- Children. The site isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
