Iowa Central Community College, based in Fort Dodge, serves several counties in north-central Iowa, including Wright. It has campuses in Fort Dodge, Webster City and Storm Lake.
The college offers two-year degrees, transfer programs and short-term training for jobs like welding, nursing and truck driving. Its partnerships with local employers help fill skilled job openings.
High school students in the region can take college classes through Iowa Central for free under the state’s concurrent enrollment program, earning credits before graduation.
Its athletic programs are well known, especially wrestling and football.
