Jeanette W. (Prideaux) Den Hartog, 90, of Oskaloosa and formerly of Clarion, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Mahaska Health in Oskaloosa.

Memorial services for Jeanette Den Hartog will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church, 201 3rd Avenue North East in Clarion, with Pastor Mike Gudka officiating. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion.

Visitation for Jeanette Den Hartog will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday, August 15, 2020.

Jeanette E. (Thompson) Prehm, 90, formerly of Holmes, passed away Friday, July 31, 2020 at Rotary Ann Senior Living in Eagle Grove, Iowa.

Funeral services for Jeanette Prehm will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Holmes Lutheran Church, 2139 Hancock Avenue in rural Clarion. Burial will follow at Holmes Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation for Jeanette Prehm will be held from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM on Thursday at Holmes Lutheran Church.

Jeanette was born November 11, 1929 in rural Hamilton County to Levi and Stella Thompson and attended school in Roland.

Diane Reed

Diane Lynne (Ganzeveld) Reed, the daughter of Curtis and Carol (Rasmussen) Ganzeveld, was born on July 27, 1961, in Clarion, Iowa. She was raised and educated in Goldfield, graduating from Goldfield High School in 1979. She then attended college at UNI in Cedar Falls. Diane began her career caring for others with a range of disabilities at Wright Opportunities (now Mosaic), she would train them for a variety of jobs and help them find employment. In 1993, she began her 26 years of hard work and dedication to Hagie Manufacturing. Diane was very fond of her “Hagie Family”.

Shirley Ann Freeman, 84, of Clarion passed away Friday, April 17, 2020 at the Clarion Wellness and Rehabilitation Center.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Shirley will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 10:30 AM at St. John’s Catholic Church, 608 2nd Ave NE in Clarion. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Clarion.

Keith passed away peacefully, Saturday July 11, 2020, to join his parents Elbridge M and Miriam V (Trowbridge) Cook, sister Marilyn (Cook) Ehler, and brother James T Cook in their heavenly home.

He will be greatly missed by his two daughters Melanie J Bishop (Doug) Denver, NC and Amy J Thomas (Gary) Johnston, IA.

Visitation for Donald Lester will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 1:00 PM with a memorial service beginning at 2:00 PM at Ewing Funeral Home, 1801 Central Avenue East in Clarion. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion.

Ruby Irene Berg Grover

Ruby Irene Berg Grover was born July 3, 1931 to Sadie Caroline Oxenfield Berg and Olaf E. Berg. She was an identical twin and youngest of 10 children. She loved her siblings and Berg family gatherings were always epic events. She had 2 older brothers who served in WWII and were at Pearl Harbor when it was attacked.

James Anthony Cunningham, 70, of Williams, Iowa passed away June 25, 2020, at Hanson Family Hospital in Iowa Falls, Iowa. Visitation for James Cunningham will be 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at the Linn’s Funeral Home Chapel, 1521 Washington Ave., Iowa Falls, Iowa 50126. There will be a private family graveside service at 2:30 pm following the visitation at the St. Mark Cemetery in Iowa Falls, Iowa. The family will have a Celebration of Life Ceremony at a later date.
