Janice M. Wilkinson, 70, of rural Dows passed away Monday, October 26, 2020 at her home with her family at her side.

Per Janice’s wishes, her body has been cremated and services will be held at a later date.

Rachel A. McMurry 87, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at her home in Canton with her family.    Rachel Arlette Peterson was born November 25th 1932, to Arthur and Grada (Roetman) Peterson in Goldfield, IA.  Rachel grew up on the family farm in Iowa with her five siblings and graduated from Clarion High School in 1950.

Colleen Ann (McDermott) Johnson, 86, of Clarion passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the Clarion Wellness and Rehabilitation Center in Clarion.

Private memorial services will be held.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Ewing Funeral Home, 1801 Central Avenue East in Clarion.

Those in attendance will be asked to follow social distancing guidelines and encouraged to wear a face covering.

Sharon K. Skrovig, 73, of Belmond, IA, formerly of Clarion. IA, died, unexpectedly, Sept. 25, 2020, at MercyOne Medical Center, Des Moines. Funeral services were held October 1, 2020, at the Belmond United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Belmond Cemetery. Andrews Funeral Homes, Belmond, handled funeral arrangements. Memorials, Sympathy cards and other expression of sympathies may be directed in care of Sharon's family to P.O. Box 224, Belmond, IA 50421.

John Buddy (Bud) McCool of LeRoy, MN, formally of Clarion, Iowa and more recently from LeRoy, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020 at the MercyOne North Iowa Hospice in Mason City, Iowa. He was 89 years, 6 months, and 24 days of age.

A memorial service for Bud McCool was held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 10:30 AM at the Bayard United Methodist Church, 500 3rd Street; Bayard, Iowa.

David A. Day, 69, of Clarion passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 at his home in Clarion.

Memorial services for David Day will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Clarion Lighthouse Church of the Nazarene, 1010 Second Street South West, in Clarion with Pastor Dana Wendel officiating.

David Alan, son of Ethan and Celia (Harris) Day, was born on October 17, 1950 in Plainview, Minnesota. David grew up in the Clarion area. He attended school in Clarion until he joined the Army. David served in the Army for eight years and was stationed in Panama.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at First Lutheran Church, 420 First Street Northwest in Clarion. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Ewing Funeral Home, 1801 Central Avenue East in Clarion and continue one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
