The Iowa Farm Bureau Federation named the Wright County Farm Bureau a 2020 Outstanding County Farm Bureau.
The award goes to county organizations that work all year on telling agriculture’s story, keeping in touch with elected officials about rural issues and supporting their communities when times get hard.
2020 gave county Farm Bureaus plenty of chances on that last point. Between the August derecho, pandemic disruption in meat processing and swings in grain markets, farm families had a rough year.
