Cowgirls clinch 41-40 lead over Lynx

It took some time for the game to begin, but once the clock ticked to the final buzzer, each second was like a heartbeat of intensity and anxiousness as the game was anyone’s to win.

The CGD Cowgirls maintained a lead throughout the entire game, but the Webster City Lynx never once surrendered to the score. Both teams battled for the win, and duelled for the ball as they knew every point mattered with such a close score. With the first quarter ending 9-4, both coaches for CGD and Webster had some instructions.

Cowboys crush Gaels 66-15, and suffer 46-30 loss to Wildcats

Handled by Humboldt while handling St. Edmond, the CGD Cowboys won another conference matchup with another conference loss as well. The Cowboys fought hard, no matter the score, forcing every opponent and pushing themselves for victory. The Cowboys defeated Gaels 66-15, though the Cowboys felt a piece of that defeat as the match concluded with the injury of JR Erick Perez. “We handled St. Eds, but our 182 pounder Erick Perez was injured which made it quite difficult against Humboldt.

The CGD Dance team received Division 1 Ratings in both Jazz and Lyrical routines! All Soloists received Division 1 Ratings, along with freshman MaKayla Biesel who earned 1st place for her solo performance.
