There was a new face in the Depot on Main Street in Clarion in January 2021. Lydia Schroeder had just started as Chamber director.
Schroeder grew up in Clarion and graduated from Clarion-Goldfield-Dows High School in 2016. Her parents, Rod and Shannon, run Wright Choice Chiropractic in town.
She started the job during a hard stretch for small businesses, with the pandemic still shaping what events could be held. She said she was looking forward to making a big impact on the organization.
A year later, the Chamber merged with Clarion Economic Development to form the Clarion Development Alliance.
