Wright County Board of Health focusing on vaccines to combat COVID-19

Wright County Board of Health is aware of conflicting messages regarding mask use with COVID-19. As vaccines are more effective in preventing severe illness from COVID-19, the Wright County Board of health is focusing on vaccination as the more important tool for combating COVID-19.

Vaccinations have been used for decades to combat new viruses that cause serious illness or death. COVID-19 vaccine studies show these vaccines are safe and dramatically reduce the risk of serious illness, hospitalization and death from COVID-19.

Currently Wright County is 46% vaccinated. Our goal is to increase this percentage, which will slow the spread and prevent serious illness so we can continue worry-free day to day activities.  We are asking residents of Wright County to reach out to Wright County Public Health Department or Iowa Specialty Hospitals and Clinics to get vaccinated or address questions and concerns you may have.

Please call for more information or set up a time for your vaccination. Help yourself and fellow Wright County community members in this effort to recovery.

Vaccines are available every Tuesday and Thursday at Wright County Public Health along with pop up clinics. Watch our Facebook page and website for the newest information.

Iowa Specialty Clinics offers COVID-19 vaccination Monday-Saturday during business hours.
