Lake’s City Jeff True was among the dozens of farmers across the state to be recognized with the Iowa Farm Environmental Leader Award on August 14 at the Iowa State Fair. Created in 2012 by the State of Iowa, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, and the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, the award recognizes Iowa farmers that go above and beyond with their voluntary efforts to protect the environment.
