Supervisors talk about new housing trust fund

At Monday’s Wright County Board of Supervisors meeting, Shirley Helgevold, MIDAS Executive Director, discussed the possibility of establishing a new Housing Trust Fund through MIDAS. Helgevold explained that Homeward, Inc. is dissolving the housing trust fund portion of their organization that Wright County formerly had access to. A housing trust fund can be used by income qualifying individuals for assistance like home rehab projects, down payment help, handicapped-accessible additions, and certain other home improvements.
