At the Monday Clarion-Goldfield-Dows School Board Meeting, High School Athletic Director Jeff Meyer presented an update to the good conduct policy. This policy outlines consequences for students with ‘good conduct’ violations. It governs not only students in athletics but many other activities as well such as FFA, student council and drama. Meyer and High School Principal Paul Hansch explained that the policy had not been updated in years and that the new policy is modeled after a system that Humboldt established. Under the new policy, students’ consequences are based on percentages.
