When the Cowboys had enough of losing, and decided to go for their first win of the season, they certainly made up for lost time scoring-wise in pasting Eagle Grove for a 76-0 win in front of a raucous home crowd.
Reed Abbas started the onslaught with a 49-yard fumble recovery for a first quarter score. The team then cranked up their ground game in the second period, with Trent Jergenson galloping 39 yards to score. He was followed by Shane Nelson on a three-yard keeper, with Jergenson scoring again on a one-yard run to paydirt before the half was over.
