Cowboys baseball season ends in loss at Pocahontas

The Cowboy baseball team lost an 11-0 game last Tuesday at Pocahontas in district play to end their season. Reed Abbas and Kain Nelson got the only hits for the team, both singles. Tyler Stein threw four innings, allowing two earned runs on six hits with two walks, two hit batters and four K’s. Damien Bjorklund-Strong threw a partial inning, giving up two earned on one hit.

The team finishes 2-13 overall, with Stein, Caleb Krueger, Ben Oehlert, Andrew Bell and Christian Tamayo all playing their final game in a Cowboy uniform
