Alison Russell Claims Large Prize in Sept. 2 drawing
A Clarion woman has won a $50,000 Powerball prize.
Alison Russell matched four of five white balls and the Powerball in the Sept. 2 drawing. She was one number away from winning that night’s $56 million jackpot.
She purchased her winning ticket at Casey’s, 222 Central Ave. W. in Clarion, and claimed her prize on Tuesday at the lottery’s Mason City regional office.
The winning numbers in the Sept. 2 drawing were 1-4-11-20-69 and Powerball 18. The Power Play was 2.
