At the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Board of Education meeting Monday night, two public hearings were held pertaining to the upcoming building projects of the baseball/softball complex and MS/elem gym. The first was a resolution supporting the proposed use of SAVE revenue for an athletic facility infrastructure project. The second was a resolution supporting the proposed issuance of approximately $6,200,000 school infrastructure sales, services and use tax revenue bonds. Both measures passed. This will allow the district to use revenues from the one-cent sales tax for these facility projects.
