In her weekly COVID update during the county supervisors meeting, Sandy McGrath reported that the county is sitting at 1,539 positive cases as of Monday. She added those numbers may go up as testing and labs get back in full swing after the holidays. McGrath said vaccinating is continuing throughout the county, and she expects to receive 200 more Moderna doses per week for the foreseeable future. They are still in the 1A tier for vaccinations, meaning they are vaccinating healthcare workers and those that are in contact with infectious materials.
