Casey Donahew Announced as Headline Act for the 2024 Wright County Fair

Headlining the six-day event is a country music artist who has risen from a favorite on the local Texas country music scene, racking up 21 #1 singles, to a nationally hot touring act that consistently sells out venues nationwide. 

Casey Donahew is coming to the Wright County Fair! Drew Baldridge, who has garnered over 350 million streams worldwide and has had over 300 million plays on TikTok with his hit “She’s Somebody’s Daughter,” is opening the show on Saturday, July 13th.

Grandstand events will kick off on Thursday, July 11th at 7:30 P.M. with the Wright Rodeo and fireworks to follow. Friday night will feature the NTPA Truck & Tractor Pull, and Sunday will feature a new event, Central Iowa Truck Pullers. 

“By popular demand, we are excited to add a new event this year encouraging local and area pullers to enter the Central Iowa Truck Pullers competition on Sunday evening,” shared Tricia Rosendahl, Wright County Fair Manager.

While grandstand events have an entry fee, the Wright County Fair is free for all to attend. There will be six full days of activities suitable for all ages, including the kids zone, free entertainment shows, the carnival, a variety of food vendors, and 4-H, FFA, and open livestock shows and exhibits.
