Gold Eagle Co-op and CORN, LP employees teamed up for a great cause recently. They held an employee led fundraiser with proceeds going to “adopt” families for Christmas in the four counties in which they are located. The goal was to adopt one family per county, but the employee contributions made much more than that possible. With additional contributions from some local organizations, the total raised came to $7,108. This amount allowed the businesses to adopt nine families, providing Christmas gifts, clothes, and food to 13 adults and 28 children.
