SIOUX CITY – The Lake City Community Blood Drive, held on Sept. 26 at Stewart Memorial Community Hospital was another great success, according to an Oct. 1 news release by LifeServe Blood Center. According to the release, the community blood drive continues to grow with support from loyal donors and the hospital.
Due to the efforts of SMCH Auxiliary member Jody Windschitl and SMCH employees, 29 donors registered to donate blood and 28 life-saving units were collected. This blood has the ability to impact up to 84 local lives.
