Clarion Public Library:

Closed until further notice as of Tuesday at 5pm.  If you need books please call or email the library and they will work with patrons 

Belmond Public Library:

Closed until further notice as of Tuesday at 4pm.

Clarion City Hall:

Closed to all visitors. Please pay bills online or by using the drop box.

Assessor: (515) 532-3737- General questions can be handled over the phone. Property specific information is available on the Assessors website: www.wrightcounty.org or https://beacon.schneidercorp.com or by email splagge@co.wright.ia.us

Auditor: (515) 532-2771- Questions regarding elections and drainage can be handled on the phone and forms can be mailed election forms can be downloaded from the Iowa Secretary of State website.

Conservation: (515) 532-3185- Office is closed call for any questions or inquires.

County Attorney: (641) 444-3240- Office is closed to the public at this time. All communications need to take place by the phone or email.

Economic Development: (515) 532-6422- Charitable foundation can call Economic Development for inquires. All other needs to call the office directly.

Recorder: (515) 532-3204- Birth, Marriage, and Death Certificated can be ordered and received from the office through the mail, call for details. Marriage applications can be notarized and mailed with payment to the office. For recording of documents and ordering copies of documents please call the office. Department of Natural Resources transactions call the office.

Treasurer: (515) 532-2691- Driver’s License can be renewed online: www.mymvd.iowa.gov

Property taxes, due March 31^st, can be paid online: www.iowatreasurers.org

Vehicle registrations can also be renewed online: www.iowatreasurers.org

A PIN is required to use iowatreasures.org for vehicle registration and can be located on your registration renewal or received by calling the Treasurer’s office. For property tax you will need your receipt number from the tax statement.. A drop box will be available outside the west entrance of the courthouse between 8 and 4 PM.

Sheriff’s Office:

Sherriff’s Office: (515) 532-3722- Handle non-emergencies over the phone.

Jail: (515) 602-6152- Visitation is suspended until further notice. Fingerprinting will be suspended for the public. Attorneys can please call the jail for communications.

Emergency Management Office: (515) 602-6821- Any business can be handled over the phone, leave a message if necessary.

Engineer’s Office:

Engineer: (515) 532-3597- Many permits are available and easily submitted on the county website under the Engineer’s Department. Questions on secondary roads and work requests for issues within the Right of Way can be phoned in.
