Truck Show draws crowd from both near and far for a good cause

With the weather having finally cooled down and the rain holding off, the Pride in the Heartland Truck Show on Main Street in Clarion was an exciting event for locals and many folks from out of town. This was the third year of the show sponsored by Ennis Corporation, Fuel, and Lifetime Lugnut, in addition to many other sponsors.
This year the events got started on Friday evening with the Kris Karr Band performing on the street in front of Fuel. There was also a light show this year with several trucks arriving that night to show off their lights.
On Sunday, the main events were well underway with several more trucks arriving. Mojo Productions DJ was cranking out the tunes as Fuel served food and drinks. One of the event organizers, Ennis Corps. Vice President Melinda Anderson, noted that in all, 32 trucks entered the show, with trophies and cash prizes given out for the top 3 places in several different classes. Anderson was pleased to note there were many new trucks this year.
