Cross country team competes at Osage
The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows cross country runners traveled to Osage last Tuesday. Crestwood (Cresco) won the girls varsity team title, followed by Newman Catholic and Nashua-Plainfield. The Cowboys were eighth out of nine full teams.
Raven Kinnetz led the way with a 27:47.24 for 43rd overall. She was followed by Katherine Lopez with 28:25.26 for 50th, Natalie Kirstein with 30:17.71 for 56th, Kylie Klaver with 30:31.59 for 58th, Jade LaRue with 30:56.93 for 59th, Quinn Hansch with 31:33.27 for 63rd. The JV Cowgirls were paced by Kaylynn Johnson with a 30:02.54 for 16th overall. She was followed by Paige German with 32:21.36 for 23rd, Alondra Aragon with 33:02.54 for 26th, Joanna Duran with 33:09.69 for 29th; Evelyn Tevalan with 34:32.06 for 35th and Maya LaRue with 36:40.46 for 39th.
