Cowgirls win two, lose two this past week

It was an up and down past week for the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows varsity basketball team, with two losses sandwiched between two non-conference wins.

On Monday, January 12, they hosted Belmond-Klemme in a make-up game and defeated the Broncos 68-62. B-K held a 12-8 advantage after one quarter, only to have the Cowgirls tie it at 27-27 entering the break. The game stayed tight through the third period, and was still tied at 39-all to start the fourth.
