Clarion native returns to practice orthopedic medicine

A familiar face has returned to Clarion.

Dr. Andrew Odland will soon be starting his practice at Iowa Specialty Hospital next week after several years away from home.

“I’m seeing a lot of familiar faces,” said Odland. “It’s good to be back in a familiar community.”

Odland is an area native that graduated from Clarion before heading off to study orthopedic medicine. After completing an undergrad program at Iowa State University and going through medical school at Iowa University, Odland completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic before moving out west to practice orthopedic medicine during his fellowship in Lake Tahoe, California.

After a year in Lake Tahoe, Odland is happy to be back home, ready to start a new chapter in his life at Iowa Specialty Hospital as an Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Provider.
