Wright County Motors to focus on Chrysler franchise, service department

In 1994, Clarion had four separate car dealerships. Over the years, the four consolidated down to two, and in 2016, Wright County Motors and Pritchard Auto combined into one at the Wright County Motors location. There, the business continued to sell new Ford, Chrysler, RAM, Jeep, and Dodge vehicles, and also provided maintenance service.

At the end of April, Doug Roelofsen, owner of Wright County Motors, said that after much consideration, he had decided to resign the Ford franchise at the Clarion location, but they will be keeping their service center and the other FCA franchises.

However, Wright County Motors will have access to Ford products through Pritchard’s Britt and Garner stores. They will also have access to full-line GM products and service through the Belmond and Forest City locations.

“We will do all we can to continue to take care of our loyal Ford customers,” Roelofsen said.
