Wrestling team wins two more dual meets

Last Tuesday night on their home mat, the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows wrestling team took down two more opponents in dual meet competition. They started the night with a 60-15 defeat of Belmond-Klemme, then finished with a 53-21 win over Eagle Grove.

Versus the Broncos, the meet opened at 182 as Sam Wigans disposed of his man by fall in just 57 seconds. The visitors took the next bout, followed by two more Cowboy wins as Colby Lienemann (220) took a win by pin in 44 seconds and Spencer Trenary (285) stayed unbeaten with a very quick 34-second fall. A Bronco win over Kaeden Langfitt (106) and a double forfeit was followed by a long Cowboy run to wrap it up.
