Supervisors sign two letters of support

            The Wright County Board of Supervisors met Monday morning. Wayne Judkins with Community and Family Resources presented a Proclamation for Mental and/or Substance Abuse disorders since September is National Recovery Month. Judkins asked that the Supervisors sign the proclamation as a show of support for the observance and to assign it as Recovery Month in Wright County. They approved the proclamation.

            The board also considered a letter of support for a Boone River Watershed Management Authority for a planning grant.  The authority is applying for a grant for $100,000 from the DNR to help create a plan of action for the watershed. The grant requires that applicants have matching funds. The board signed the letter and pledged $500 from the county to contribute to the matching funds.
