Santos takes her essential oils business the next step

For a business to succeed, an entrepreneur must have confidence that their products and ideas work. For Elizabeth Santos, that confidence is based on both faith and the lived experience of using essential oils in her daily life as a mom of five kids. Now, Santos wants to use essential oils to promote wellness with her business, Yahweh’s Oils.

“There’s always uses for them, and I know [from experience] that it helps peoples’ wellness,” Santos said. “Everything you breathe in every day can affect you.”

Santos said she first became interested in essential oils when her young daughter would regularly come down with RSV (respiratory syncytial virus). A neighbor recommended she use eucalyptus oil in a nebulizer. “I tried that,” Santos said. “Within three days, she’d be better.”

Santos started using other oils for everyday purposes. She often uses lemon for cleaning, and she makes a spray with peppermint oil and water she uses to cool her kids down when they play soccer.

“They can be used for lots and lots of things. The uses are about endless,” she said.
