Olson: Dows Auction Went Very, Very Well

A nice-sized crowd turned out for the auction in Dows this past week, according to Dr. Robert Olson, superintendent of the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows School District.

School officials put together the auction following the recent closing of the Dows school this past year, and selling of the building.

It is now owned by Alex Mortenson, of Pioneer. The City of Dows owns the athletic field and playgrounds.

“It went very, very well,” Olson told the Board. “I was pleased.”
