Kinnetz leads in scoring, Kolb in rebounds for this year’s stats

The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows varsity finished at 11-12 overall, with a 6-8 record in conference play. Algona won the league at 13-1, with Clear Lake and Iowa Falls-Alden tied for second at 11-2. The Cowgirls were fifth in the standings.

The team scored 1,052 total points, making 401 of 1,045 shots from the field for 38.4 percent. They hit on 161 free throws out of 275 attempts for 58.5 percent, and made 89 out of 288 three-point attempts for 30.9 percent. Raven Kinnetz finished as the leading scorer, hitting the net for 319 points on 107 of 289 shots from the field for an average of 13.9 ppg. Courtney Harle scored 148 points on 57 of 127 shots for an average of 8.7 ppg. Quinn Hansch scored 128 points on 49 of 128 shots for an average of 5.6 ppg. Vanessa Kolb scored 117 points on 49 of 133 shots for an average of 5.1 ppg. Megan Askelsen scored 95 points on 35 of 103 shots for an average of 4.3 ppg.
