Harle, Kolb and Nelson lead Cowgirls offensively for year

The Clarion-Goldfield- Dows varsity softball team finished with a 3-18 overall record, which included an 0-14 conference mark. Faith Nelson was a 2nd Team All-Conference selection.

The team had 479 total atbats to produce 80 total runs on 128 total hits. Among those were 14 doubles, one triple and three homeruns. A total of 48 RBI were produced. There was one sac fly, 49 walks taken, 12 players hit by pitch and 31 steals in 40 attempts. The collective team batting average was .267, with a .319 slugging percentage.

Courtney Harle had 18 hits in 58 at-bats for an average of .310. Vanessa Kolb had 18 hits in 59 at-bats for an average of .305. Faith Nelson had 17 hits in 46 at-bats for an average of .370. Emma Schluttenhofer had 14 hits in 50 at-bats for an average of .280. Emily Kapka had 12 hits in 40 at-bats for an average of .300.

Quinn Hansch had 12 hits in 55 at-bats for an average of .218. Kendall Lienemann had 10 hits in 38 at-bats for an average of .263. Megan Askelsen had 10 hits in 43 at-bats for an average of .233. Gabby Hackley had eight hits in 32 at-bats for an average of .250. Jadyn Jondle had three hits in 12 at-bats for an average of .250.
