Cross country teams compete at Southeast Valley

The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows cross country teams opened their new season last Thursday in a meet hosted by Southeast Valley and held at the Gowrie Country Club course. For the girls team race, it was St. Edmond in first at 48 points followed by Manson NW Webster at 78 points and South Central Calhoun at 85 points. The Cowgirls were eighth with a 168 total.

Raven Kinnetz led the way for the team at seventh with a time of 23:06.77. Behind her were: Katherine Lopez in 39th with 27:17.86; Natalie Kirstein in 41st with 27:43.71; Makayla Pulido in 54th with 29:24.14; Jackie Lopez in 60th with 30:01.44; Kylie Klaver in 68th with 31:25.87 and Lauren Hansch in 78th with 33:47.93.

On the Cowboys side of the meet, the team title went to St. Edmond as well with 44 points. They were followed by OABCIG with 63 points and Manson NW Webster with 146 points. The Cowboys were 10th with 192 points.
