Cross country teams compete at Osage Invite

The Cowgirl cross country team took eighth out of 10 teams with 234 points at a meet last Tuesday at Osage. Crestwood (Cresco) won the team title with 59 points, followed by Newman Catholic at 66 and Nashua-Plainfield at 75.

Raven Kinnetz took 21st individually for her team 24:59.7, and was followed by Waldina Villanueva at 38th in 27:00, Natalie Kirstein at 51st in 28:15.7, Alisha Vatne at 64th in 30:55.6, Kylie Klaver at 73rd in 33:27.4 and Lauren Hansch at 74th in 35:28.5.

On the boys side, it was Crestwood also taking that title with 75 points. They were followed by St. Ansgar at 80 and Newman Catholic at 81. The Cowboys were 10th with 257 out of 11 teams.

Kaeden Langfitt was 19th in 19:55.2, followed by Isaiah Nebbe at 27th in 20:29.1, Jacob Ingebritson at 68th in 24:33.3, Nick Carpenter at 71st in 24:42.8, Luke Brownell at 72nd in 24:43.1 and Jackson Beisel at 77th in 26:20.0. Running for the JV were Caleb Jacobsen, who got 39th in 27:18.4, and Thomas Klaver at 40th in 27:25.6.
