Cowgirls win again Defeat Hampton-Dumont, Humboldt

Raven Kinnetz netted 15 points to lead the way as the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows girls defeated Hampton-Dumont 34-33 last Thursday in a rescheduled game from the previous week. However, they had to battle from behind after a slow start put them down 18-5 at the break as the Bulldogs weren’t exactly lighting up the scoreboard themselves.

Joining her in scoring were Quinn Hansch with seven points which included two three-point bombs. Jadyn Jondle scored six points. Emily Kapka three points on a bucket from long range, Courtney harle two points and Vanessa Kolb one point. Harle also snagged eight rebounds, with Askelsen getting her hands on five caroms and Kolb four. Jondle and Kinnetz had three rebounds each and Kapka two.
