Cowgirls defeat South Hardin, lose to Clear Lake

The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows varsity girls team had a great home game last Tuesday in defeating South Hardin by a dominating 65-21 margin. They went up 47-9 by the end of the first half and never looked back. Raven Kinnetz was red hot, pouring 21 points thru the rim on 9 of 15 from the field and two treys. Quinn Hansch joined her in double figures with 11 points with three buckets from long range. Morgan Middleton was close at eight points, while both Lauren Odland and Courtney Harle scored six points each. Megan Askelsen managed to put five points in the book, with Jadyn Jondle adding four points and Emily Kapka two points. Kendall Lienemann and Vanessa Kolb added one point apiece to the total.

The 40 total rebounds column had Kapka with eight and Middleton with six. Kinnetz and Kolb grabbed four caroms apiece, with Jondle and Hansch making three each. Lienemann, Askelsen and Alaina Friesleben all grabbed two apiece, with Nicole Waters, Odland and Harle getting one each.
