Cowgirls are NCC golf champions

The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows girls golf team took the NCC tournament title this past Monday in Clear Lake, finishing with a 391 and tying Humboldt. The fifth score was then used to break the tie, giving the Cowgirls the title. Finishing behind those two teams were: Clear Lake 403, Algona 411, Hampton-Dumont 447, Iowa Falls-Alden 461, Webster City 536 and St. Edmond 587.

Emily Snelling of the Lions was medalist with an 18-hole 75. Mikaela Livengood third with an 87, followed by Shanee Tate at 101 (tied-7th), Hope Polzin at 101 (tied-7th), Jenalee Hinkle at 102, Kaylee Smith at 108 and Hannah Leist at 110.
