Cowgirl season stats, All-NCC selections released

The final overall season stats, and stats for North Central Conference games only, have now been made available for the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows softball team for this season. The All-NCC selections are also cleared for publication, with senior Sydney Terhark the only Cowgirl honored as a 3rd Team choice.

The team finished 9-12 overall, with a 4-10 conference mark. As a team, the Cowgirls had 508 total at-bats (all games) to produce 117 runs on 147 hits. Among those were nine doubles, two triples and three homeruns. A total of 63 RBI were produced. There was one sac fly, 66 walks taken and 38 steals in 45 attempts. The team batting average was .289, with a .333 slugging percentage.

The top 14 in runs scored were Kolb with 23, Willey with 20, Kapka with 15, Askelsen with 11, Jackson with 11; Konvalinka and Harle with eight each, Nelson and Lauren Odland with four each, Johnson,  Larue and Cierra Milner with three each and Hansch and Hackley with two each.

Nelson smacked four total doubles, followed by Kolb with three and both Askelsen and Jackson with one each. Kolb and Harle both ripped a triple each, while Nelson smashed three balls over the fence for the year.
