Cowboys defeat Belmond-Klemme

      The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows varsity boys basketball team overcame a 22-16 Belmond-Klemme halftime lead to defeat the Broncos 55-41 last Thursday in a home game.
      Two players hit for double digits, as Brier Boyd racked up 17 points including a nice 13 of 17 from the charity line. Mateo Martinez drained 15 points including a trey. Jaace Weidemann was close to joining them with nine points, followed by Christian Gaytan with seven points, Blake Jackson with five points and Alec Martin with a bucket for two to round it out.
