Cowboys clobber West Hancock 12-4

Harvey smashes two-run homer

 

The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows varsity baseball team was hitting on all cylinders last Tuesday in a 12-4 home win over West Hancock. They used a huge six-run second inning to propel them on to victory.

After Eryn Ulven advanced when hit by a pitch, Jacob Harvey stepped up and showed his muscle in clearing the centerfield fence for the homer. Later, a Trenton Sann two-bagger scored both courtesy runner Tristan Mewes and Cody Kapka. Jarrod Littlejohn’s base hit scored Sann, with Kenton Waters also crossing the dish to end the rally.
