Cowboy wrestlers defeat, three teams in duals action

The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows wrestling team traveled to Humboldt last Thursday to face off with the home team plus Hampton-Dumont-CAL and Pocahontas Area. The defeated the Wildcats 48-27, the Bulldogs 55-22 and the Indians 71-12.

Versus Humboldt, Tyler Stein (113) scored a fall in 1:29 with Bryce Allen (126) doing the same in 3:09. Remington Hanson (132) got the pin in 1:32, while Carter Dietz (170) stuck his man in 2:38. Colby Lienemann (182) scored the fall in :58, with Sam Wigans (195) making his pin in 1:01. Kamren Jergenson (160) scored a 10-8 overtime win, with Keaton Wilson (152) taking a 4-1 victory. Spencer Trenary (285) won by forfeit.
