City discusses financing facility updates project

Two items related to the upcoming wastewater treatment project were checked off the “to do” list at the Clarion City Council meeting Monday night, January 19.

First on the list, a date was set to discuss the applications to annex the wastewater treatment facility into city limits through the approval of Resolution No. 2015-03.

Ron Fiscus, of Planscape Partners, stated this annexation would be a good for a few reasons, the first of which is, it just makes sense.

"It seems prudent to have the wastewater treatment facility completely within the city boundaries," he said.
