CGD students complete music room mural

The CGD Elementary music room has a little more color to it now that a select group of students have finished painting a new decorative mural.

A year in the making, the mural was designed by art teacher Kaira Downing, who then recruited a group of students from fourth to sixth grade to make the design a reality. It took a few months worth of sessions to get it all done, but now the colorful mural has been completed.

"We wanted to start in January, but there were too many snow days," said Downing.
