CGD cross country runs at Webster City

The Cowgirl and Cowboy cross country teams made their season debut last Tuesday at the Links Course in Webster City. Humboldt won the girls team title with 63 points, and was anchored by Bryce Gidel’s individual win. The rest of the top five were Algona with 72, St. Edmond with 83, Manson NW Webster with 104 and Roland-Story with 112. The Cowgirls were 11th.

Raven Kinnetz led the way for the team with a 16th place effort in 23:43. The rest of the varsity were: Natalie Kirstein in 54th with 28:24; Makayla Pulido in 63rd with 30:02; Kylie Klaver in 69th with 31:31 and Lauren Hansch in 76th with 35:02.
