C-G-D Middle School Bridges The Gap With Area Seniors

Senior citizens from across the area gathered at Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Middle School on Thursday, April 9 to enjoy dinner and a show at the annual Bridging The G-A-P Night.

     Hosted by a collection of middle school students and community volunteers, the event invites area senior citizens to have a night out with an evening of events.

     "It's just to show them appreciation for what they've done for the younger generation," said Margaret Askelsen.

     C-G-D has been "Bridging the G-A-P" for somewhere between 12 to 14 years now. Nobody at the school can quite remember when exactly they started.
