Bridging the Gap Night

Few seniors took the plunge to dance with the students at the end of the night.

Thursday, March 6, was the well-loved community Bridging the Gap Night at the middle school. Organized by the student Peer Helpers, Bridging the Gap is a fun night for seniors and older adults that helps to connect them to the youth of the community. In addition to a pork sandwich meal, made possible by donations from the Clarion Ruritans, visitors enjoyed Bingo, crafts and games, prizes donated by dozens of local businesses, music, and even a dance at the end of the night. It was an evening of food, prizes, and intergenerational fun.
