In a home game last Tuesday, the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows girls varsity basketball team finished the 2018 portion of their schedule with a much-needed 45-42 victory over Webster City. The Cowgirls held a 17-7 halftime lead, and even though they were outscored 35 points to 28 by the Lynx over the entire second half they still had enough to hang on at the end.

The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows wrestling team traveled to Humboldt last Thursday to face off with the home team plus Hampton-Dumont-CAL and Pocahontas Area. The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows boys basketball team visited Iowa Falls last Tuesday night and fell 69-35 to the home Cadets.
